The Gathering of My Leaves Poetry Book
In the autumn, leaves fall from the tree to protect the earth. They bond together to allow young seeds to grow and prosper. They hold a very important role in the cycle of life.

The Gathering of My Leaves poetry book is an inspiring exploration of leaves that have fallen from my family tree. In this book, I express my love of God, my passion for art and my fondness of macaroni and cheese. I also explore the influences of legacy, ancestry, and heritage through poems such as “Cowbell”, “At the Fence,” and “Senior Choir.” I am gathering leaves to learn from the legacy of my family tree.

Neo-Groove

Artwork Title: NEO GROOVE
Medium: Silkscreen Monoprint
Art Statement:
Being influenced by artist such as Jackson Pollock, Georgia O'Keeffe and Jacob Lawrence, I enjoy exploring the dance between rhythm and form. Cotton, soybeans, pine trees, church pews and piano keys are elements that provide textural music and inspire creativity connecting my soul to an abstract pulse.
